《 Mirage 》

Liu and Wu’s video installation is located on a window of Pagoda Plaza in Treasure Hill, like a small cinema that integrates reality and fiction. The video is taken during their West Coast road trip in United States.

West Coast is where Hollywood is at, it is where everything and everyone is related to the movie industry. West Coast even creates an illusion for people of being in a movie. It was a very familiar place for them, since many science fiction movie are shot there. The reality and fiction overlapped, and seeing the fiction before the reality, made the fiction more real then reality. they tried to replica that experience of illusion, overlapping the real scenery of Fuhe Bridge riverside and their travel documentation. The video’s plot also shows the people, events, and stuff they encountered on the trip, fabricates a relationship with local environment.

《 海市蜃樓 》

此作品結合影像與裝置，在寶藏巖半樓廣場牆面簍空的窗框上，架設ㄧ個結合真實窗景與虛構影像的小型電影院，作品內容取自兩人同遊的美國西岸公路旅行。

美西是好萊塢電影產業所在地，此地的許多人事物都與之環環相扣，甚至讓人產生置身於電影中的錯覺。旅途中他們也發現路過的地景皆有某種程度上的熟悉感，原因是有許多熟知的科幻片皆在此取景，真實地景與虛構經驗的疊合讓他們產生感覺的錯置，因爲在見到真實地景之前，電影場景才是他們經驗中的真實。於是他們企圖將經驗疊合的狀態詮釋在作品中，影像疊合窗口福和橋與河濱的真實風景與旅行中拍攝的景觀與科幻電影場景的虛構影像，融合成真實與虛構交替的影像經驗，影片中也描述著旅行中所遭遇的人事物，作為電影的敘事情節，與當地景觀產生某種隱喻性的關係。
